Catania, 23 February 2021 – Fabio Parziano has been confirmed at the helm of Sicilian equestrian sports. The election took place today, Monday 22 February, on the occasion of the ordinary elective Assembly of the FISE Sicily Committee which took place at the International Airport Hotel in Catania.
Partial, Outgoing President, obtained 339 votes (60.32%) against the 223 preferences won by the challenger, Fabrizio Bignardelli from Palermo.
Great turnout at the polls with 93% of the centers with the right to vote participating in the assembly.
Flavio Sinagra (39), Giuseppe Muscaglione (37), Erminia Anastasi (32), Karen Dalton (31), Alessandra Criscuoli (28), Fabrizio Marisca (26) and Giuseppe Pulvirenti (26) were elected to the Regional Council.
Confirmed as Representative of the Knights, Francesco Cusumano (28) and of the Owning Knights, Iris La Rocca (9). Instead, Filippo Infantino (14) will sit on the Council as a representative of the technicians.
The Assembly chaired by Orazio Arancio, President of Feder Rugby Sicilia and a member of the CONI Council in the technical quota, saw the presence of the Sicilian Federal Councilor Ettore Artioli and the Secretary General, Simone Perillo.
Federal President Marco Di Paola congratulated on behalf of the entire Council with the reconfirmed President and with the entire Regional Council.
