Employees of a company dumped waste at Piraineto station in Carini, caught by surveillance system and reported.
Three employees of a construction company, aged 65, 39, and 60, have been reported for abandoning waste in Carini. They were caught by the new mobile video surveillance system – comprised of 24 cameras, installed this summer in various streets and managed by the eighth division of Network and Environmental Services, alongside the fixed police municipal system which includes about 130 cameras – while dumping construction material in the yard in front of the Piraineto train station on September 19th. “We have identified the company for which they did it and now we are trying to track down – explains the commander of the municipal police, Marco Venuti – the person who physically committed the act and those who may have given this company the task to report them for aiding in the crime of abandonment, as provided by criminal law”.
