Drugs on the Sicily-Malta axis, loaded with skunk seized in Pozzallo

The military seized about 2.2 kilos of marijuana destined for the Maltese nightlife

Soldiers of the Tenenza di Pozzallo and officials of the Customs Agency have seized about 2.2 kilos of marijuana destined for the Maltese nightlife and an Italian citizen arrested for drug trafficking and psychotropic substances.

In particular, during the boarding operations on the catamaran bound for Malta, the military and customs officers identified a man of Catania origin, a result burdened by specific precedents for traffic and drug dealing, who, carrying a trolley and a visually heavy bag, was about to embark.

Inside, there were eight wrappers, protected with food film and coffee powder, of “Super Skunk” marijuana, a substance considered among the most valuable and sought after on the illicit market due to the high content of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), which himself would have retailed once he arrived on the island of the knights with a profit of over 40,000 euros. The man was locked up in the Ragusa prison.
