A quick glance was all it took for the Carabinieri to realize that a young man from Catania, known to them for previous legal issues, was hiding something. While patrolling the area, they noticed the man driving in the opposite direction with a strong smell of marijuana coming from his car. They decided to follow and eventually stopped him for inspection. They found about 150 grams of marijuana in his car and later discovered 46 doses of marijuana and a packet of hashish in his house. They also found a precision scale and materials for drug packaging. The 25-year-old was arrested for drug possession and placed under house arrest with an electronic bracelet.
