Driver stopped at high speed: tests positive for alcohol, reported in Catania

A 21-year-old girl was caught by the police in Catania last night driving a car with a blood alcohol level exceeding the limit set by the highway code and was reported for drunk driving, outrage, threats, and resistance to a public official. She was noticed driving a car with two other people in Piazza Borsellino at high speed on Via Domenico Tempio. The police, after turning around, ordered the driver to stop, but she continued her race. This resulted in a chase that ended shortly after in Piazza Giovanni XXIII, where the officers managed to stop the car safely. The highway patrol took part in the alcohol level check.
