Don Luigi Ciotti to open inter-university master on the Mafia in Palermo.

The 13th edition of the APC master’s degree program, “Analysis, Prevention and Counteraction of Organized Crime and Corruption,” will begin on September 14th. The program is a collaboration between the University of Palermo, the University of Pisa, the University Federico II of Naples, the University of Turin, and Libera – associations, names, and numbers against the mafia. This unique academic program offers theoretical insight and professional training on the analysis, prevention, and counteraction of organized crime, as well as political and administrative corruption. The opening day of the program will take place at Palermo’s Botanical Garden, providing an opportunity for enrichment and discussion for both the university and the city of Palermo. The keynote speakers for the opening day will be Don Luigi Ciotti and Antonio Natali. The program will also feature a range of esteemed speakers from various fields related to combating organized crime. The curriculum includes training on current legislation, its implementation, and its application, as well as the study of criminal cases and confiscated assets management. The program includes participants from various backgrounds, including law enforcement, local government, engineering, and international students.
