Death threats and a cartridge sent to the mayor of Calamonaci

The mayor of Calamonaci, Pellegrino Spinelli, received a death threat letter and an unexploded 12-gauge cartridge. The anonymous envelope was delivered to the mayor’s home through regular mail. The letter criticized the mayor’s work, supporting instead the opposition, and included death threats against Spinelli’s family members. Spinelli has already filed a police report against unknown individuals. This is not the first time the mayor of Calamonaci has received intimidating letters.
