The Carabinieri of the territorial department in Gela, together with their colleagues from the K9 unit in Palermo, arrested a 45-year-old man from Niscemi for the illicit possession of drugs with the intent to distribute. During a search of the man’s home, the local police found about 5 grams of cocaine and crack divided into doses, a scale for weighing, and various materials for packaging the drugs. The seized materials were confiscated, and the man was subjected to the precautionary measure of a mandatory stay in the town of Niscemi and an obligation to report to the judicial police.
