Along Provincial Road 160, one of the main arteries connecting Ragalna to Nicolosi, a serious accident occurred this afternoon involving a motorcycle and a car. The accident happened on the stretch of road just after the Ragalna cemetery, but in the territory of Belpasso. According to reports, the motorcyclist, a 30-year-old man from Gravina riding a Honda Sh300 scooter, was the most seriously injured: after the impact with the van, he ended up crashing into a wall. Due to the serious injuries, the ambulance crew requested the intervention of a helicopter, which took off from Cannizzaro hospital and landed near the scene of the accident to provide necessary assistance for transportation.
