Crac Meridi, Pulv buyers treasure hunt: Gdf searches also in Favara
Military personnel from the Economic and Financial Police (PEF) of the Guardia di Finanza of Catania are carrying out searches in the context of the investigation for an alleged bankruptcy of Meridi. The company, which is part of the Finaria group, whose parent company Finaria Spa has the former shareholder of Calcio Catania Antonino Pulvacchetti as its major shareholder, controls 90 stores in the Forte supermarkets in Sicily with over 500 employees.
The Gip decree also authorized the search of a private home in Favara owned by Francesco Cipolla administrator of Meridi with the recognition of extensive management powers.
