Covid, in Enna the mayor closes kindergartens, schools and universities

Kindergartens, schools of all levels and universities closed in Enna until March 13 to deal with the “changed epidemiological situation, with a significant increase in positive cases” at Covid-19.

It is the decision of the mayor of Enna, Maurizio Dipietro, who issued an ordinance which orders the blocking of lessons in presence for 15 days. The decision is linked to the “presence in the school environment of staff and pupils” of positive cases and that

“The increase indifferently concerns all age groups of the school population, which has already seen the temporary suspension of the teaching activity of five classes in five different institutes and of the Kindergarten”. “Having assessed the impact that this new epidemiological situation may have on public health” and “stem and contain the spread of the risk of contagion”, the mayor “deems it appropriate to suspend teaching activities for all schools of all public levels and deprived of the city of Enna for a period of 15 days from today’s date “. In light of these assessments, the mayor also ordered in the ordinance the “suspension of socio-educational services for early childhood as well as the educational services of preschools” in the Municipality of Enna “from 27 February 2021 to 13 March 2021, made without prejudice to the right to revoke this provision where the investigation activity under the responsibility of the ASP should exclude the existence of dangers to the health of the users of the school service in relation to the relevant school “.
