There are 8,584 new cases registered against 31,271 swabs processed
on the island according to today’s bulletin.
The previous day the new positives were 8,060.
The positivity rate rises to almost 27.5%, the previous day it was 26.3%.

The region is in fifth place for infections. The current positives are 119,386 with a decrease of 7,925 cases.
The healed are 17,359 while the victims are 5 bringing the total of deaths to 11,285.

In the hospital, there are 1011 patients, 10 more than the previous dayin intensive care there are 41, one more than the day before.

Here are the contagion data recorded at the provincial level: Palermo 2.392, Catania 1.811, Messina 1.202, Agrigento 1004, Syracuse 981, Trapani 730, Ragusa 649, Caltanissetta 431 and Enna 239.

There are 98,044 new infections from Covid recorded in the last 24 hours in Italy, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
Yesterday the infected were 100,690.
The victims are 93, down from 105 yesterday.

A total of 389,576 swabs were performed, including antigenic and molecular with the positive rate of 25.1%, down from 27% yesterday.
344 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 17 fewer than yesterday.

Daily admissions are 41.
There are 8,864 people admitted to ordinary wards, 232 more than yesterday.
Coronavirus positive Italians are currently 1,262,865, continuously growing in recent days (+15,643).

In total, 19,357,938 people have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the dead rise to 169,062.
