Couple injured in Palermo after scolding group of rowdy children

A couple aged 63 and 50 ended up in the hospital after being beaten by a group of teenagers whom they had reprimanded for making noise. The couple was assisted by emergency medical personnel and taken to Civico Hospital in Palermo. The prognosis for both is 12 and 7 days for facial and head trauma and various contusions. The incident occurred near Ernesto Basile Street, on Emilio D’Angelo Street. The investigation is being conducted by the carabinieri. The couple, tired of the teenagers’ shouting, had asked for silence, which led to a verbal altercation and eventually the teenagers surrounding and attacking them.
