There have been more fires in Sicily, this time in Ragusano, where this morning there were hours of fear due to a fire blazing in the countryside near Comiso, not far from the outskirts of the town. There are few doubts about the nature of the fire, certainly deliberate, aided by the hot weather and wind in the area. Fortunately, firefighters from the provincial command of Ragusa, along with forestry officers, immediately intervened to extinguish the flames. The fire was brought under control in the early afternoon and there were no damages or evacuations needed.
