Collision between two cars in Belpasso: One vehicle veers off the road and flips over, serious injuries to 27-year-old.

A serious car accident occurred on provincial road 230 in Bocca d’Orzo, Randazzo. A 27-year-old boy was severely injured in the collision between two cars. His car went off the road and flipped over after the impact. Emergency helicopter of 118 services had to be called in, which transported the boy to Cannizzaro Hospital in Catania. He suffered multiple injuries and is currently in intensive care with a reserved prognosis. The driver of the other vehicle was also injured but his condition is not considered worrisome. He was taken to Castiglione-Prestianni Hospital in Bronte by a 118 vehicle. Local police and carabinieri arrived at the scene for investigations that will determine the sequence of events. Firefighters were also present.
