Prize-giving ceremony, in Catania, on the occasion of the first edition of the regional phase of "Changes Award", competition organized by the CNA, which enhances the innovative proposal of companies. Among the 14 selected Sicilian start-ups, who presented the project, also two companies from Agrigento: both run by young women. "Fiori d’Arancio ”by S. Stefano Quisquina earned the podium, finishing third. The owner, Francesca Alferi, explained the activity, whose goal is to preserve the tradition that revolves around tatting lace. A particular embroidery technique, dating back to the Victorian era, which embellished and made elegant the royal garments. "Orange flowers" transforms tradition into wearable art.
