The unmistakable sounds of powerful engines that still fill the landscapes of the Madonie region have also been ignited for the classic Targa Florio edition, continuing to enliven intense and spectacular challenges. This passion for rallying transcends time and attracts enthusiasts of all ages, creating a wonderful event that gathers people from around the world. The event, organized by the Automobile Club of Palermo with the support of the Automobile Club of Italy and the Club Aci Storico, took place on the historic Madonie Circuit, where famous pilots like Albert Divo, Achille Varzi, Tazio Nuvolari, and Nino Vaccarella have raced and triumphed. The event also coincided with the visit of filmmaker Martin Scorsese to Polizzi Generosa, adding an extra layer of excitement to the weekend. The event allowed spectators to see Ferraris race through the streets of Collesano, Polizzi Generosa, and Calcarelli, where they were greeted with local treats. Mayor Tiziana Cascio and Gandolfo Librizzi welcomed the participants, showcasing the history and cultural richness of the region.
