Catania, the crime of Valentina: 16 years for the younger son

CATANIA. The Juvenile Court of Catania sentenced him to 16 years the younger son of Valentina Giunta, held responsible for the murder of the woman, stabbed to death in her home last July, a stone’s throw from the Ursino Castle. The boy, fourteen at the time, was therefore found guilty, in the 1st degree, of voluntary homicide, the charge for which he was arrested a few days following the crime by the Catania flying squad and which he confessed. Valentina, he remembers, was 32 years old.
