Catania New Year’s concert with Mario Biondi, Tananai: Christmas calendar launched

The Christmas Catania Fest 2023 will feature events in the Sicilian city from December 8th to Epiphany. Mario Biondi and Tananai will headline a New Year’s Eve concert in Piazza Duomo, joined by local artists. The festival, co-organized by schools and associations, aims to unite Catania by hosting events in various neighborhoods. The program, partially funded by the Sicilian Region, includes theater, street art, gospel, and street performers. The city will also host social initiatives to support those in need. Transportation will be facilitated with a special ticket for bus and metro rides, and extended parking hours at a reduced rate. Additionally, a historical reenactment event, “Regno di Sicilia, Catania Capitale, Federico III Sovrano,” is planned at Castello Ursino. Various locations, from traditional venues to schools in the outskirts, will host festivities as part of the “Natale in città” celebration.
