A 51-year-old driving instructor in Catania, Italy, has been accused of using sexual violence against several women, including minors. The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Catania has charged him with continuous and aggravated sexual violence. The prosecutor has requested and obtained a precautionary measure that prohibits him from practicing as a driving instructor, with a total prohibition of all related activities. The investigation, carried out by the carabinieri, revealed multiple incidents of sexual violence from 2020 to the present involving seven female students, two of whom were just of legal age and five were minors between the ages of 14 and 17. The investigation was initiated following a violent attack against the accused on June 30th, during which he suffered injuries including a fractured rib, a head injury, and cuts to his face. The parents of a girl who had allegedly suffered abuse during driving lessons three years ago confronted and assaulted him, accusing him of being a pedophile.
