Catania, an illegal nightclub in a villa is discovered. A rave party is interrupted in Caltanissetta

CATANIA. An illegal nightclub was discovered in a villa on the outskirts of Catania by soldiers of the Financial Police. It happened the night between last Saturday and Sunday. Twenty-six people, mostly Romanians – surprised inside, who had made an appointment after 10 pm. They were sanctioned for 400 euros each for not observing the anti Covid -19 regulations.

During a search in the villa carried out with canine units, the military seized three katana-type sabers more than 60 centimeters long. The owner of the property and organizer of the evening was reported for illegal opening of places of public entertainment or entertainment and for illegal possession of weapons. The military also confiscated computers, mixers, speakers, amplifiers, beers and spirits.

It is not the only case that has occurred in Sicily. On Saturday night the Caltanissetta police discovered a rave party organized in the countryside, with over a hundred participants from all over the region dancing to the rhythm of techno music.

The emergency number was contacted by some residents of a district in the Nissen countryside who heard loud music. A stage was also set up and an area where alcohol was distributed. Consoles and amplifiers had been connected to generators.
At the sight of the police, a general stampede occurred, but several people were blocked and identified by the officers. It seems – reports the Ansa – that ecstasy, hashish and marijuana have also been seized. For organizers and participants there are various violations of the law, including the invasion of land, a crime that involves imprisonment up to three years and a fine of up to 1,032 euros. Several people have already been reported. (Handle)
