Catanese Lo Cicero narrowly avoids tragedy in Rome’s wrong-way auto incident

Former rugby player Andrea Lo Cicero was involved in a major car accident in Rome, along with four other vehicles. The accident occurred around 11 am when a vehicle was driving in the wrong direction on the Cassia bis road. Five people were injured, with one in critical condition at the hospital after being transported by helicopter. Lo Cicero, who was also on the road at the time on his motorcycle, narrowly avoided the wrong-way car. Lo Cicero documented the incident on his social media profiles, expressing his shock at the situation. The road was closed in the direction of Rome at Cesano, and the traffic police, medical personnel, and Anas personnel responded to the scene.
