Car on fire causes traffic delays on Palermo-Catania after Villabate junction.

Traffic is slowed down on the A19 Palermo-Catania highway, towards the Sicilian capital, due to a car catching fire, most likely due to a malfunction, shortly after the Villabate exit. Firefighters have extinguished the fire, but a large cloud of smoke has made visibility difficult, leading to traffic delays and queues. The Palermo traffic police is also assisting in regulating the traffic.
