Car crash on highway 121 in Biancavilla, two injured

Another road accident in the province of Catania. Two cars, a Fiat Doblò and a Fiat Panda, collided along the state road 121, in Piano Rinazze, in the countryside south of the town. The impact occurred around 7am. Emergency services were called to the scene, including two ambulances and the carabinieri. The medics assisted the two injured individuals, a 41-year-old from Paternò driving the Fiat Doblò and a 56-year-old from Biancavilla driving the Fiat Panda. After receiving initial treatment, both were taken to the hospital for further evaluation. The carabinieri also conducted investigations at the scene to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident. Just a week ago, Biancavilla was the site of a fatal accident involving a motorcycle, where one person died and another was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The investigations are being carried out by the carabinieri of Paternò.
