Car crash in Marsala leaves two injured, one critically

Two people were injured, one in critical condition, in an accident that occurred between Marsala and Salemi, in the area of Contrada Chitarra. The collision involved a jeep and a Fiat Panda. The driver of the Fiat Panda suffered the most serious injuries and was transported to the hospital with a red code. He has been admitted to the intensive care unit with a reserved prognosis. The 48-year-old driver of the jeep, a resident of Marsala, was also injured but in a less severe manner. Ambulances and firefighters were called to the scene to assist. Both vehicles suffered serious damage and it was necessary to extract the injured from the wreckage. Investigations are currently underway to reconstruct the dynamics of the impact.
