Car collision in Capo d’Orlando: three injured, road blocked on highway 113

Two cars collided on the state highway 113, in the area of Capo d’Orlando. The impact occurred between Scafa and the San Martino junction and resulted in three injuries, including both drivers and one passenger. Emergency services transported the injured to the hospital, while the police closed the road to investigate the accident. Traffic was heavily affected with strong delays. This was one of several accidents in Sicily that day, including a fatal crash in Porto Emepdocle, Agrigento, where a 26-year-old man died after his car caught fire following a collision. Another serious accident occurred on the Palermo-Mazara highway, leaving two hospitalized with serious injuries.
