Car accident in Palermo leaves two injured: one in critical condition.

Two young people were injured in a car accident between two vehicles at the intersection of Via Libertà and Viale Lazio. The most serious of the two, a 26-year-old, was transported to the Villa Sofia hospital in critical condition and is hospitalized at the Trauma Center. The fire brigade had to intervene to extract him from the car and handed the injured person over to the 118 health workers. A 34-year-old woman was also transported to Villa Sofia hospital in stable condition. The impact between the two cars was violent, with one ending up on the sidewalk after an almost head-on collision with the other vehicle. The accident is being investigated by accident investigators.
