Panic ensued at a takeout pizzeria in Canicattì. Around 11:30 pm, a man with a covered face burst into the establishment on via Tenente colonnello La Carruba. Armed with a large knife, he threatened the cashier and made off with the night’s earnings, approximately 250 euros. Despite efforts by law enforcement to gather information from witnesses, the perpetrator has not been identified. The incident caused fear among patrons, as it was the first time the pizzeria had been targeted by robbers.
