Destroyed 200 vine plants in the land of a 65-year-old woman and there are fears of an intimidating act. It happened in the San Pellegrino district in Caltabellotta, in the province of Agrigento, and a herbicide was used to burn the cultivation. The woman filed a complaint against unknown persons and the carabinieri have started an investigation.
There is suspicion that more than one person may have been involved, precisely because a large area was burned with the herbicide and not just a small section. The investigations remain confidential.
