Birgi Airport, presented eight new routes with Forlì, Greece, Poland and Romania

A total of eight new routes for summer 2021 presented this morning at Birgi’s “Vincenzo Florio” airport and operated by the Greek company Lumiwings. The conference was attended by the president of Airgest Salvatore Ombra, the communications manager of the company Michele Manzi and the sales manager Chiara Rebughini online.

Starting from March 28, Covid restrictions permitting, there will be a daily flight from Monday to Sunday, except Wednesday, to Forlì. From the first week of June and until the end of September there will then be direct flights with the Greek islands Rhodes (Tuesday and Saturday), Santorini (Tuesday and Saturday) and Heraklion (Wednesday).

The routes will then increase with the two new destinations to Poland, Katowice (Monday and Friday) and Lodz (Tuesday and Saturday), and two other destinations in Romania with the airports of Arad (Monday and Friday) and Craiova (Monday and Friday). ). The aircraft used will be a 139-seat Boeing 737.

As for the connections with Poland and Romania, these will be made with the stopover in Forlì. Three types of rates proposed: Light, Classic, Flex. There is currently a promo rate to Italy of 35 euros each way, 38 euros to Greece always one way and 45 euros to Eastern Europe.
