B&B La Rosa del Sud – Portopalo di Capo Passero

In the extremity of Italy, Portopalo di Capo Passero, surrounded by the crystalline sea and the wildest and most uncontaminated nature, between the red of prickly pears and the scent of jasmine, the B&B “La rosa del sud” is born.

The mild climate, the always sunny days and the typical Sicilian cuisine, mainly based on fish, will help to make you spend unique holidays, in the name of tranquility and serenity.

Furthermore, the structure is located near places that are of great importance both from a historical, cultural and naturalistic point of view. We remember in fact Noto with its stupendous baroque, the city of the “tyrants” or Syracuse, the naturalistic oasis of Vendicari, the reserve of “cala mosche”, the lakes of Cavagrande in Avola and the island of Capo Passero, where It is possible to see the intersection of the Mediterranean and Ionian seas, the island of the Currents, a destination for surfers and finally we mention the tuna traps present in Portopalo and Marzamemi, a very close seaside village.

Our B & B, recently built, consists of 3 double rooms are equipped with independent hot / cold air conditioning, bathroom with shower, color TV, fridge and Wi-Fi connection. Room cleaning and change of towels are done daily while sheets are changed every other day.

The typical Italian breakfast is enriched by the imagination and inspiration of the typical local gastronomy and is served in a typical Sicilian “baglio”.

The structure offers, subject to availability and free of charge, a garage for cars and motorcycles.

The B&B “La rosa del sud” can be reached from Syracuse from the SS nr. 115, continuing to Noto with the SP nr. 19 and no. 20 for Pachino Portopalo.

The nearest airport is Catania-Fontanarossa (100KM) while the railway station is Syracuse (50KM), after which it will be necessary to use the bus service.
