A motorist was attacked while at an intersection in Bagheria, specifically on the corner of Via Città di Palermo and Via Monsignor Arena. The attack occurred due to a lack of respect for right of way and a honking of the horn. The man, who was in the car with his wife, was punched in the face for honking the horn in an attempt to prompt the other driver to respect his right of way. The man was taken to a nearby emergency point for treatment. The police and carabinieri are currently investigating the incident to identify the aggressor.
