The regional civil protection has issued a weather-hydrogeological and hydraulic risk alert, valid until 24:00 tomorrow, Saturday, November 25th, 2023. A yellow alert is expected for Saturday in parts of Sicily, especially in Palermo. Strong to gale-force winds are forecasted along with strong waves along the exposed coasts. This weekend will be wintry with cold temperatures and intermittent showers and thunderstorms. The next weekend will have winter-like characteristics throughout Italy with irregular clouds, quick showers in the Tyrrhenian regions, the first snowfalls on the Apennines, and strong winds. Today in Sicily, most of the region will see good weather, with some rain expected in the Siracusa and Ragusa areas. On Saturday, the disturbance will move to the rest of the island and especially in Palermo, Trapani, Messina, and Agrigento. Temperatures will drop, and on Sunday, November 26th, it should be sunny again with low temperatures.
