Attempted theft caught at Vucciria in Palermo, thief hiding behind counter in Tribunale area hair salon – VIDEO

The State police arrested a 39-year-old man from Palermo for attempted aggravated theft. The man reportedly broke into a hair salon using the “smash and grab” method, but was unable to steal anything, either because he was scared off by potential witnesses or because he couldn’t find any cash. A witness who saw the break-in alerted the police and provided a detailed description of the suspect, leading to his arrest in the Vucciria area. The man was arrested for attempted theft and the arrest was confirmed.
