Arrests of two 40-year-olds in Partinico with 26kg of marijuana at home.

The Carabinieri in Partinico have arrested two individuals in their forties for possession with intent to distribute drugs. During searches at the suspects’ homes, the Carabinieri found a total of 26 kilograms of marijuana. In one of the suspects’ houses, 8 bags, each containing a kilogram of marijuana, were discovered. In the other apartment, 18 bags, also containing one kilogram of marijuana each, were found. The judge in Palermo validated the arrests and ordered house arrest with electronic monitoring. Both suspects were receiving a basic income and procedures have been initiated to immediately suspend their benefits.
