A multiple offender from Vittoria, but residing in San Donato Milanese for years, was arrested by the police because 108 kg of hashish were found in the Audi Q3 he had rented. The 45-year-old man, G.G., ended up in handcuffs. The drugs were hidden inside the car’s trunk, in three large parallelepiped-shaped packages. Also seized were 10,000 euros in 50 euro bills kept in a fanny pack.
The forty-five-year-old was taken to prison in Ragusa. According to investigators, the confiscated drugs, once on the market, would have yielded over two million euros.
