Arrest made for mistreatment and beatings of wife in Syracuse

The State Police has carried out a precautionary custodial order in prison for a fifty-year-old man accused of aggravated personal injury, stalking, and abuse perpetrated against his wife, even in the presence of minor children. The suspect is alleged to have abused his wife from October 2022 until last November. The police intervention documented how the man, in a state of physical and psychological alteration due to constant alcohol consumption, subjected his wife to various forms of violence. The police also implemented a personal precautionary measure of prohibition of approach against a 40-year-old man from Syracuse accused of repeated stalking behavior towards his ex-wife. Despite having already received a warning from the police chief, the man allegedly continued to mistreat his ex-wife by threatening, stalking, and physically assaulting her when she expressed a desire to separate.
