The orchestra will see several protagonists among the best students of the conducting class of maestro Antonino Fogliani, who has adopted a new method for the training of his students by giving them the opportunity to “train on the field” or by letting them conduct some concerts of the Orchestra, from year to year.
The concert, signed by the conservatory, is deliberately carried out near the Holy Week and also marks the beginning of the activities of [In]visibilia year 2022, words, images, sounds of the Sacred appointments and reflections on the themes promoted by the Archdiocese of Palermo in collaboration with the main cultural institutions of the city.
«Ave Verum Corpus» by Mozart with the participation of the Conservatory’s White Voices Chorus, directed by Antonio Sottile will be the opening of the concert.

Donizetti and the Symphony n.
49 “The Passion” by J.
The soloists will be Serena Vitale, soprano, pupil of the singing class of the teacher Patrizia Gentile and Antonella Di Giacinto, mezzo-soprano, pupil of the conducting class.
