Appeal by excluded candidate against University of Palermo leads to successful outcome; now among three winners.

The content states that a candidate who had ranked fourth in an administrative employment competition at the University of Palermo was able to successfully appeal her exclusion from the hiring process. With the assistance of lawyers Luigi Matta and Valentina Matta, the candidate was able to prove that not all of her qualifications were taken into account by the examining committee. The judges at the Palermo Administrative Court (Tar) accepted the appeal, recalculated the candidate’s score, and allowed her to surpass the third-ranked candidate, enabling her to be hired.
