Andrea Adamo: Calatafimi’s Phenomenon Triumphs as Motocross World Champion

Calatafimese Andrea Adamo has become the MX2 World Champion. The 20-year-old rider secured his first world title with a strong performance in the races at Maggiora. Although the races were won by Geerts, Adamo proved to be the most consistent rider. He is the first MX2 world champion since Tony Cairoli in 2007. In the second race at Maggiora, Adamo only needed 5 points to seal the championship. The whole city of Calatafimi is proud of him and his successful 2023 season. Andrea’s story is that of a prodigy. He started racing at the age of 8 in Partinico, always supported by his parents and the whole city of Calatafimi. His parents believed in his potential and made sacrifices to give him a future.
