The sole administrator of Amap, Alessandro Di Martino, and Tommaso La Mantia, representative of the irrigation association Zappa Paceco, have signed a ten-year agreement for the irrigation use of the “Gesuitico” well. The well, no longer usable for drinking water purposes for some time, is fed by the ancient Arab Qanat system in the Fondo Micciulla area, in the center of Agro Palermitano, and will allow the Zappa Paceco association to initiate suitable interventions to have the necessary water resources for irrigating citrus crops.
