The prison guards at the Lorusso di Pagliarelli prison in Palermo saw a man climbing over the yellow fence and throwing bags containing cell phones and drugs. The unions have reported this. It happened last night. As soon as they saw the man roaming inside the first perimeter fence, a manhunt ensued for several hours, even around the prison and in the surrounding areas. Apparently, the man had an accomplice nearby who was waiting for him on a motorcycle or in a car and managed to disappear. Surveillance footage is being analyzed to try to identify the man who tried to smuggle phones and drugs into the prison.
