A 79-year-old woman was found lifeless in her apartment in Agrigento. She lived on Callicratide Street, where the firefighters intervened. The woman’s relatives alerted them as they had been unable to contact her for three days. Using the fire ladder, the firefighters were able to access the apartment and found the woman on the floor. Her loyal dog was beside her, having watched over the woman for three long days, never leaving her side even when the rescuers were present. The medical staff from the emergency service confirmed her death, stating that the pensioner died of natural causes.
