Aid 20 migrants on a small boat in Lampedusa
Rescue in the night off Lampedusa: 20 migrants who had been aboard a wooden boat at sea for more than a day were rescued by the Coast Guard. The boat "was in difficulty in Italian Sar waters – writes the Coast Guard in a tweet – Migrants were transhipped on a patrol boat and landed in Lampedusa in cooperation with the Guardia di Finanza". On the other hand, the 153 people on board the Aita Mari, the ship of the Spanish NGO Salvamento Maritimo Humanitario, rescued in recent days in the central Mediterranean still remain at sea. The ship is located south of Lampedusa, on the edge of Italian territorial waters.
