An auto belonging to the regional Department of Agriculture and State Forestry was stolen in Agrigento. It is a Fiat Panda that was parked in the former hospital parking lot on Via Giovanni XXIII. According to an initial reconstruction, someone acted undisturbed last night, stealing the car. This model has been the target of many thefts recently, not only in Agrigento.
Employees noticed the theft the next morning when the offices were reopened. The carabinieri were immediately notified, and a report was filed. No one saw or heard anything suspicious.
Investigators have obtained surveillance footage, the images of which could be very useful for the ongoing investigation.
