Agrigento man arrested for attempted murder of 35-year-old daughter
A seventy-one-year-old man, Gaspare Priolo, has been arrested for attempted murder by the police after stabbing his thirty-five-year-old daughter in the house in Villaggio Peruzzo in Agrigento at dawn. The elderly man, who suffered a sudden illness, was taken to the emergency room at the San Giovanni di Dio hospital where he is currently hospitalized and being watched by police officers. The daughter is also hospitalized in the same hospital: she was stabbed with a knife in the arm and abdomen.
When the emergency medical services and police officers arrived at the house in Villaggio Peruzzo, they found the woman in a pool of blood and the father lying on the floor with a head wound.
