Agrigento, 700 new plants in the Valley of the Temples
The planting of 700 new fruit trees in the Archaeological and Landscape Park of the Valley of the Temples has been completed. These are 350 pistachios, 250 almonds and 100 olive trees, to which must be added over a hundred of holm oaks, carob trees, prickly pears and various minor fruits, which together with 200 specimens (including shrubs and herbaceous) of the new collection of medicinal and aromatic plants, reach the remarkable figure of a thousand specimens.
