Robert De Niro has arrived in Panarea, a small island in the Aeolian archipelago. He was photographed at the “Raya” hotel, enjoying the magical terrace with a view of the surrounding islets. De Niro had dinner with friends after disembarking in the archipelago. This return to the Aeolian Islands holds significance for the American actor, as he had previously stayed at the “Carasco” hotel in Lipari in the 1990s, hosted by the Del Bono family.

This vacation in the Aeolian Islands is also a moment of relaxation for De Niro after recent ups and downs in his life. In May, he surprised everyone by announcing that he had become a father for the seventh time at the age of 79. His new partner, martial arts champion Tiffany Chen, gave birth to a baby girl named Gia Virginia in April. However, shortly thereafter, Chen experienced some health problems, including Bell’s palsy, a condition that affects facial muscles. Thanks to medical care, she has recovered.

Two weeks ago, De Niro attended the funeral of his 19-year-old nephew, Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, who was found dead. The actor expressed deep sorrow at the loss of his beloved nephew, while the boy’s mother claimed that he had been sold pills containing fentanyl.

Following the tragic events, De Niro sought refuge in the Aeolian Islands to find some peace. The tranquility of the island, the good food, and swimming in the sea are helping him heal.

Meanwhile, in Panarea, the most beautiful yachts glide through the sea. One of them is the “Siren,” a 74-meter yacht owned by British billionaire David Reuben, who is also a co-owner of Newcastle United. It is worth 70 million euros and was built in the Nobiskrug shipyards in Germany, with interior and exterior design by Newcruise. The yacht can accommodate 12 tourists and has a crew of 17. It even has a helipad.

Another impressive yacht in Panarea is the 75-meter “Kenshō,” designed by Admiral and created with the collaboration of a team of architects and naval designers from Azure (Netherlands) and Trappmann Consulting (Germany). It can accommodate 16 tourists with 20 crew members. The yacht is made of steel and features an innovative diesel-electric propulsion system with permanent magnet motors, ensuring high efficiency and power without requiring excessive volumes.

Diego della Valle, the former owner of Fiorentina and president of the renowned Tod’s brand, also returned to the Aeolian Islands with his yacht “Altair III.” The luxurious 59-meter yacht, built by the Dutch company Amels and restyled by renowned yacht designer John Bannenberg, is anchored off Filicudi. It can accommodate 18 people, in addition to its crew of 20. With elegant lounges and various relaxation areas, the yacht also displays some collectible Ferrari racing car pieces. “Altair III” has previously hosted notable figures such as former minister Clemente Mastella and former director of Tg5 Carlo Rossella during their visits to the Aeolian Islands.
