Acireale drug dealer on the run crashes car into wall

One drug dealer, in order to avoid a check by the financial police just before the entrance toll of the Catania-Messina highway in Acireale, reversed direction and accelerated towards Aci Castello, but crashed the car he was driving into the wall of a private property. He then attempted to flee on foot, but was caught and blocked by the military of the Acireale company who found and seized 100 grams of cocaine, and a bottle with 2.5 milliliters of popper.

The man, 50 years old, from Messina with previous convictions for trafficking and dealing drugs, carrying and possessing weapons illegally, and crimes against the person, was arrested and taken to prison. The suspect was also charged with driving without a license, which had been revoked due to his previous offenses.
