Accused of having killed his wife, he will be tried for an upholsterer from Lentini

Forty-five-year-old Massimo Cannone di Lentini was indicted for the voluntary murder of his wife Naima Zahir which took place last March. The Syracuse Preliminary Hearing Judge issued the indictment order, accusing Cannone of voluntary homicide aggravated by futile motives, impaired defense and premeditation. For the investigators, Cannone would have killed her wife in a fit of rage, after a quarrel broke out for trivial reasons. The trial will open in September and Cannone faces up to 25 years in prison.
